Best Broadband And Tv Offers ?

im only getting broadband from virgin, installed yesterday , i pay £20 a month for first 8 months then £33 a month thereafter for a total of 18 month contract.

seems like a lot to pay for only broadband. though for tv i have an android box where i can live stream movies etc it works ok at the minute. plus i was maybe going to go buy a freeview box or even a tv with freeview allready in it.

your thoughts please, what would you do ?

My thoughts: if you think it's too much for just broadband why did you agree to having it installed in the first place?

As you have had Virgin cable fitted it seems silly to me to have only their Broadband when you are suggesting using other methods of receiving tv & also not using their phone facilities.

I think I'd go and shoot myself for putting the cart before the horse....surely you suss out a good deal BEFORE you choose to sign a contract, not the other way round?

i signed up in haste, ok i did not think it through. anyway, who is offering best deals in uk for broadband and tv. i got virgin because instalation was quick plus they have fastest speed. i can cancel

Let me make it clear to you dieseldick if you use any supplier other than Virgin for broadband, they ALL have to use the B/T line to supply the signal. This means that any breakdown in communication you will have to sort out who is at fault B/T or the supplier so good luck with that.

That's why I stick with Virgin, Ron. I get 150Mbps whereas the best BT and all the others can guarantee is 2Mbps maximum.

thanks HC4 i allready got the bundle and as i say im paying 20 a mth for 12 mths then 32 thereafter but noo tv package, the link you give includes a tv package so i will cll virgin asap to see if i can change to this.

hc4 i got ur link thanks but when i called about it they said package was £20 a month then goes up to 34 a month but then theres a "hidden " fee for line rental £17 a month on top.

hence the reason i get android box installed to give me 1000,s free channels and movies etc !!!

all i need is hi speed wifi which i allready have.
