Hello....
My wife was on a shopping spree at waitrose and I asked if she could get me a couple of packets of cigarettes ....
She told me that the person behind the counter wouldn't tell her what cigarettes they had or wouldn't allow her to see what cigarette they had...
She was only allowed to take out the cigarettes asked for....
Is it really becoming this bad...
I am a ex smoker since 1994, very hard to give up and I don't like to be around smokers. I am glad they no longer show packs of cigs because when I went into shop and could see all those packs , my stomach used to clench, think it shows how very addictive they are.
I'm glad I don't smoke anymore, because I was always running out and not able to get to a shop.
I used to smoke Marlboro Lights because I like the colours of the box, and because James Dean smoked and it looked cool. So silly, now, I know.
I don't know how the shutters in front of the cigs are going to to help. They all have "CIGARETTES AND TOBACCO" plastered all over them. No one's going to forget about buying them if they want them.
