Dog Proof Sofa Throw

It needs to be large,and nice looking. NO animal prints....preferably a plain colour in the bluey/green family.
I currently have one of those faux fur,fleecy throws...and evey day I am picking dark teal blue clumps of it off the rugs,floor,other furniture. Its everywhere! I've only had it ten days or so.

I use thin quilts from Ikea or amazon

....also once you have washed and tumble dried it a couple of times, the shedding will stop

They're nice and soft and you don't get any clumps coming off, etc.

Have you tried washing yours a few times?? We had a similar problem with some new towels that we bought - bits coming off them everywhere, but after a few washes, the problem has virtually gone :)

Yes...I think I'll wash it this week and see what happens. I'll have a look at IKEA,and I've put the Amazon ones on my wish list.

I've had two beautiful fluffy ones for about 3 years and I wash them every week and they are still perfect. Never shredded and dry almost as soon as they come out of a spin. Got them from Costco and all I can remember was that they cost less than £20 each. You can now buy from Costco online even if you're not a member.
