Yes ....Thanks Pastafreak...I did see them when I looked.
I haven't made my mind up yet but it still seems a bit odd that they no longer sell them via the party method in Britain. Tupperware was so successful that the name has now become the generic name for any plastic storage stuff all over the world. You would have thought that they would have at least done what Lakeland Plastics did and open shops.
I quite the Click and Lock stuff but will it still be serviceable in 40-50 years time, like my Mums old Tupperware ?
Anyone remember eerie Indiana and the episode where the kids were kept in tupperware by their mum, well here it is! Media URL: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x12drhs_eerie-indiana-01-foreverware_shortfilms Description:
My MiL was a Tupperware fan and I inherited it all when she died .
I've got a cupboard full of it ..lol.We've been married 42 years and some of it is from before then and still going strong .
Cambellking....I think I recall seeing a documentary of the telly, that showed Betty and Phil having a very informal breakfast, in one of their palaces, and the muesli was stored in Tupperware.
As you say, if its good enough for them, who are we to argue ! We are ere mortals.
Saw HMQ and spouse in Lidl only yesterday. They had difficulty in selecting the Muesli.so much better when decisions of choice are made for one don't you know?
Yes, apparently Buck House has cereals all in Tupperware. According to the Daily Mail 'the prudence of her Tupperware cereal holders only made the nation respect and love the Queen a little bit more'.
Love and respect to you Mikey!
The Betterware man called a week after we moved in. We now have the only shower-mat we could find to fit, ta Betterware man.
Re: Tupperware, mikey, the parties are all the rage in rural France right now.
I took along an ancient bowl which was peeling on the inside (must have been 20 years old) and had it replaced, gratis, as per their guarantee. Pretty good.
