You mentioned the other day, that you made your own bread.
Your mission ( should you choose accept it ! ) is to come up with a recipe for what is variously called Jewish Rye, or Ukrainian Rye, or maybe some thing else. Its a light Rye loaf, ie, not the dark 100% rye loaf, probably 50/50 rye and wheat, and its flavoured with Caraway Seeds. Popular with our American friends.
The caraway seeds are important !
The local Polish food store has it but only fitfully. Bear in mind that while I used to make bread by hand year ago, growing arthritis prevents me from making it that way these days , so I use a Breadmaker now.
Anybody else who feels competent to chip in may do so !
