It was purely by accident that yesterday I passed through the 'Home Section' of the Supermarket where my wife and I do our weekly shop for food and other household items; cleaning materials etc. Well to my surprise there was an HP keyboard on offer at £9.99. My eyes lit up because my HP keyboard was looking really pathetic . It was then that I noticed on the bottom shelf of the display section that the very same keyboard was on offer with a mouse for the unrealistic price of £6.00. Consequently' without any further thoughts, I put the the boxed item in the trolley.

I have now 'set-up' the C2500 package and it is performing superbly on my old PC, which is loaded with Windows Vista and is being used for this posting.

I am Not too sure if it is in order to tell you the name of the Supermarket, for fear of unauthorised advertising in AB. Consequently, I shall merely say that S stands for Supermarket.

Got 50 metres of speaker wire from Clas Ohlson tuther day about 7 quid ... bargain much cheapness.
Supermarkets are often named here, it is not classed as advertising.

To say that you got a bargain in Sainsbury's (e.g.) is not against the rules as far as I can see.
A five pack of GU10, 50 watt equivalent LED lamps in Aldi today - £7.99.

Happy days. :)
If anybody sees a keyboard for a Macbook Air 11" going cheap please let me know. I've worn the e, t, i, o and n letters off the keys on this one and a few more are getting a bit faint. Thank you;-)
Why not just buy a sheet of small stick-on letters?

More bulbs in my local Clas Ohlson than Amsterdam, douglas.
It is shutting down and there is 70% off everything, I won't need to buy any for a while.
On eBay from £15.00, ladybirder. :)
Douglas, do you mean sticky letters as suggested by jd, or an actual replacement keyboard? Got to have a look now. Thanks.

I've never heard of Clas Ohlson. None around in the SW that I've seen.
...nor me, not in the NE.
The keyboard lb.
Just found them Douglas thank you very much. Have a drink on me.
Just wondering if removing the current one and installing a new one is something I can do myself. I'll have a word with my Mac user friends.
Ladybirder, I killed my MacBook keyboard and had to pay nearly £200 to get a new one fitted. Sticky letters are a much better idea.
Two tubs of cheese pasta sauce in Co-op today reduced from £1.79 each to 20p!
Thanks for the info wolf. Do you mean you killed it trying to change the keyboard?

£200? Was that at the Apple store and for a new keyboard plus installing it?
You can get some excellent deals when they want to shift something! My most recent was a Samsung 64GB SD card for £8 (if I remember right) - the "cheaper" brand cards were much more than that, for less. I had to check that there wasn't something odd with them before buying a few!

On the subject of keyboards, I swapped to a Microsoft "Sculpt" keyboard and mouse combo recently, and it's really excellent:

I got liquid into the keyboard and it seized up. I got a local guy to fix it. We don't have an Apple store nearby.

That was the total cost.
Keyboards have been around £10 and less for a few years now.

I have bought loads of different stuff the past 2 years, from magic tricks for kids, gadgets for the home, kitchen, scarf's, winter clothing, computer stuff etc.
And before people start saying, Oh its Chinese crap, where does most of the stuff come from that we buy in our shops?
