Must come to an end.
Second sensor started coming off lasted 2 days longer than its predecessor so it came off.
I loved it but there was something about it that I wasn't keen on. I'll be sad to hand it back but 2 weeks was enough for me I feel I got enough information in that time, I wouldn't want to put myself through a further 2 weeks of it.
I'm still hoping that other diabetics can benefit from it and not at £100 per month.

Curious as you know since two nephews are on insulin and was going to tell them about this when I seen/saw them. Know one nephew would be on the ball but the other has only been diagnosed and doesn't really like to "talk" about it. They were up in sista's on Wednesday so she will let me know how they are etc.
Hiya Jenny, don't get me wrong the meter was very helpful it prevented a few hypos. One the price put me off - so in a way I was trying to prevent myself getting attached to the meter. Two I think the sensor in itself after a wee while I don't like. It made my arm sore at times and you had to be careful as not to knock it.
I did love what it was capable of but I feel that there is a few things that could be improved on. While it is not for me I'm not saying that other people won't like it.
But certainly mention it to your nephews it does make a different - Freestyle Libre

Yes Jenny - in side the wee disk is a tiny needle that sits in the arm. All the time until it (the sticky bit) comes off then you just take it out. It's very straight forward to use and do I have to admit.
I have been using it correctly Mamya it's quite straight forward - or at least I hope I have - I followed the instructions. I guess like all new things there will be a lot of tweaking still to be done. I have made notes and will talk to my nurse when I go back on Tuesday. The company is quite good though they were very quick and very efficient in taking back the first sensor.
