Reverse System Shampoo?

My wife has just bought 'reverse system' shampoo and conditioner. You condition first and then shampoo. Surely this is rubbish? The shampoo will wash off the conditioner, so you may as well save the cash and not use conditioner in the first place? Looks like a 'scam' to me to get you to pay for the shampoo and the 'useless' conditioner ?

Maybe the conditioner has done it's job by then. Or maybe it withstands the wash ?

Just read the bottle and it virtually admits it washes off. It says 'using conditioner after shampoo can weigh hair down, using our system leaves hair with wonderful soft bounce'
This brings me to another moan, why is the writing on shampoo and conditioner bottles so small ? How the hell can you read them while you are in the shower with no glasses on?

I'd read them in the Supermarket before I put A Duff Product in my basket and wasted my money on it tbh.

Hmmm, I agree with you, Eddie. I can't see how the conditioner is going to do anything if you wash it off straightaway. I'm not convinced they work anyway, whichever way round you use them.
My hairdresser asks me if I want conditioner when he washes my hair. If they were that great he'd just use it anyway, surely?

They def work. Without conditioner my hair goes frizzy.

I would say so. The problem is that people use too much. Most peoples hair doesn't get very dirty and we only need a small amount of shampoo. Bubbles don't get your hair clean whereas conditioner helps smooth it. I suppose much depends what kind of hair you have.

One might be able to get away with less shampoo but I figure I'm treating my scalp as well as my hair so don't begrudge a reasonable sized blob.

I just watched a consumer programme where they were saying we use too much of most things. Too much shampoo/conditioner, too much washing powder, too much washing up liquid.

It doesn't stop me using too much though. I like bubbles :-)

I bought reverse conditioner and thought it was rubbish but then i used it as you would "normal" conditioner and its lovely!

That is useless! Conditioning hair after shampooing is necessary on processed (tinted) hair.
