Iphone 6 Or Iphone 7
7 Answers
2 years ago, after a lot of teasing from my kids and resistance from me, I changed from an old, 'original' kind of mobile phone to an iPhone 4. I loved every aspect of this phone and wondered why I hadn't taken this step before. I have been paying £22 per month. Now the contract is nearly up. My little iPhone has become clogged and slow and probably obsolete. I'm expecting a call any day about renewing my contract. The question is, do I go for an iPhone 6 or iPhone 7? I know that again, once I get a better phone, I will wonder how I lived without it. I also know that there's going to be a considerable increase in price. What are the differences between 6 and 7 apart from the cost (from a lay person's point of view).

However, it is reported that the iPhone 7 is sturdier than 6 and can be fully submerged in water for up to half an hour. Info from the following clickable link. :-

Glad that you have enjoyed your iPhone 4. But when you got it two years ago it was considerably an old model (4s, 5, 5s and iPhone6).
If you are happy with your current size screen, the best value phone is the SE. It has the same specs as the 6 but is far cheaper. I have an iPhone 6 and it is excellent, but if I was buying today, I would get the 7. Faster chips, better spec.

I would get the highest spec one that fits your budget. Any upgrade will feel a lot quicker etc. I would have a look on the various networks web sites and see what combination of data/mins/texts and monthly price would suit you best. You should be able to see your upgrade deals on your online account and upgrade there if you so wish. However, changing providers might get you a better deal (or the threat of leaving, so knowing what you can get elsewhere is a good idea). Good luck!
The lack of a headphone jack is only an issue if you want to use it while charging. And of course it contributes to its water resistance
The 7 has better performance, better display, more space, a better camera and is slightly sturdier than a 6.
Depends on your budget. If you are upgrading from a 4 then you'll get all the above enhancements anyway. If you have money to spare and like taking the phone in the bath with you then go for the 7 :-)

Well I decided to go for the iPhone 6s which is arriving tomorrow. Vodaphone wanted £42 per month. USwitch were quoting £32 per month for the same thing (3GB data and 16 whatever storage). Phoned Vodaphone up (my current provider) and suddenly with discounts and loyalty bonuses etc they could do the same thing for £31.45, so that's what I'm going for. I'm upgrading from an iPhone 4 so as you can imagine, I'm really looking forward to receiving my new phone. Thanks for all your comments
