Does anyone know anything at all about this company, or where i can look?

I've looked online and all that seems to come up is items for sale on various sites - but i wanted to see about the company itself.
i'm assuming it no longer exists and is possibly hundreds of years old, and thats why they don't have a website.

I have acquired a cast iron charles dickens, oliver twist wall plaque type thing, but it doesn't really look like the sort of thing someone would have in their house - it looks like it was once attached to something heavy and sturdy as there are two bolts on the bottom and the back has screw holes - so possibly the outside of a library or something...?
(wondering if it was originally stolen perhaps?)
Of course it could also just have been attached to a stand or something, like a doorstop or garden ornament
i looks like its had a coating of something silvery coloured that has chipped off a lot.

(ID markings are Banksway - B411. Rd 98253. made in england - if anyone wants to know)

thanks for any help.

(also anyone know what RD stand for? I realise it likely the item number - just wondering why RD)

Might this be the company that you're looking for?

By the way, RD probably means Registered Design.
This was all that I could find for Banksway.
