What Would Your Perfect Week Be Like?

If you had a whole week to do anything you wanted - what would you do? If money was no object, if you could go anywhere or do anything?

Paddling in the sea at Cleethorpes ... when the sun shines it's just like Bondi Beach.

Not for me, but for Mr Alba, he's always fancied fishing in Canada or Alaska, so could he have my place please?

A cruise through the Norwegian fjords to see the Northern Lights. I've never been on a cruise and not too sure whether I'd like it, so a week would be long enough to find out.

Right now I'd love to be somewhere hot, drinking something chilled, far away from work and listening to the sound of a steel band. I could happily suffer that for a good few months.

A tropical beach, at least 30 degrees, warm crystal water, loads of fish, super yacht to sleep on - no risk of crime or terrorism.

A week in Vegas again

I'd go back to Tavira.

A day out birdwatching, then at teatime I'd sit outside my favourite bar with a Guinness and watch the world go by.

Then about 8pm I'd stroll round the corner to Pausa (the best Tapas Restaurant in town) for some plates of delight and a bottle of Alentejo Red.

Then just sit and while the evening away with some good friends.

changed my mind, Mr Alba can go fishing with his brother on a lovely Scottish Loch.

Am in 2 minds whose luggage I'm going to squeeze into, Islay's or Margo's :-))))

Now an impossible dream, but 30 years ago I sailed with my OH up the east coast of Africa, just the two of us on a 50 footer heading for the Suez Canal. The week we sailed around Zanzibar was heaven on earth. How I would love to do it again, but until stability comes to the Horn of Africa it's but a dream.

For me it would be italy.
Just a sunny week exploring. I would love to dress the part for every part of the day. Obviously with a georgeous english speaking italian lady to guide me round all the best bits ;0)

would have to shift a wee bit too Margo, but for the 3rd week, I'd drag the pair of you to the back of Colintraive, sit on a cliff and as the tide rushes in, we'd catch a load of mackerel.

lol Alba and Margo we should have a ball! I have been to ardmuchan Alba hubby bought me a ladyship there so we went to visit it!

Now, we'll need to hang on to Margo, so I suggest a good load of local brew :-)
