Broad Back.which Size?

I have a broadish back so makes bra buying difficult.For example:would a 40 c have a wider back than a 42c?
I don't where to put this post so chose here..sorry if it is wrong.

Yes, it would. The 42 is the size of the band and the C is the size of the cups in relation to the band size.

I wouldn't use M&S either. I found Debenhams to be very good. Or follow Woof's advice.

M&S bra fitting is terrible!!

Just shows you, a fair percentage of the ladieswear department taken up with bras in most stores, a reputation for quality and customer service built up over decades and trained staff aren't always the answer.

Their boxers are good, always ask for a fitter with warm hands though. :-)

Get it professionally done in a specialist shop or Debs, even I knew that a 42 would probably be better than a 40 - and from, what I have gleaned, a lot of women are often surprised by their cup size, i,e, they understimate it.
