Lidl Black Friday Event

Looks like there won't be a Superweekend this week, but a Black Friday event instead ::::::

But its available today, not Friday....confusing, isn't it ! That Champagne is very nice though. Still no reds on offer...perhaps next weekend instead.

Some years back pointed a mate in the direction of their champagne, she bought a bottle and found it very nice
(She's a massive fan of champagne and has a discerning palate when it comes to quaffing it)

Alba....I bought 3 bots of the stuff earlier this summer, in a previous Superweekend, when it was either £6:99 or £7:99, for Xmas presents. but I forgot to get one for myself !

I am still waiting for that Cotes du Rhone to come back, at £2:99....down t my last bottle !

OG...it seems that this is another American invention, that we Brits haven't quite the hang of, like kids "trick or treating" 3 days before Halloween !

In 2010, I was over in New Hampshire for Thanksgiving, and it was marvelous...never seen so much food !

And then everybody went shopping, including me, on the day after, Black Friday ( they do the same on Boxing Day ! )

A terrible waste of food actually. there was about 20 people at my friends house and most people had brought something with them. Distinct lack of booze though....
I did manage to get one glassful of "Californian" Champagne !

You say no reds on offer, but surely only in America will they call an event likely to put your bank account in the red, "Black Friday".
