Amazon Prime Slipping?
20 Answers
Amazon 'Prime' account holders pay a lot of money for quicker (cheaper?) deliveries. Last week or two, I've noticed stuff previously on Prime/Next Day delivery slipping back to 2 or 3 days.
Fair enough, given the late snow, there are exceptional circumstances, but am I alone in thinking it's also just an excuse to slip back a day or two, which won't be re-instated in future?
Decimilisation, oil price prices, etc. Any old excuse?

Amazon used to have Customer Discussion Forums. They closed these last December, so no chance of asking the bulk of fellow users what they think.
Inevitably (if you'd been writing the story) the Big Firm gobbles up all the small firms, offers the world (or at least Prime delivery), then when it's got a virtual monopoly, it pulls the plug.
Mark my words. Prices will go up, delivery will get slower. And everyone will say "well, that's all right, isn't it..."

You seem to be under the impression that "Prime" means free next-day delivery only....but there is so much more. For about £1.50 a week (based on a yearly sub of £79) you get rather a lot more....but, of course, it all depends on how you use the services....
