Perfume And Natural Scent
63 Answers
A bit of an odd question I know, but do you prefer the smell of a manufactured fragrance (perfume, body spray, aftershave etc) on your partner or do you prefer your partners natural scent?
I'm single now (and happily so) but the smell of perfume on a woman has always been a turn off for me. Ive never understood why women want to smell of flowers or whatever when their own scent is a turn on (not talking about B.O by the way, that's also a big turn off)
Thanks.

Any suggestions welcome.
To start things off, I saw Michael Douglas dab cologne on his forehead in a film, and thought that was a good idea, as perspiration will usuaully activate the cologne odour.

nailit - // Why is it that humans feel the need to wash away their own natural scent (pheromones etc) and replace it with a manufactured fragrance?
I bath everyday and wear a low odor deodorant but I just don't get why people feel the need to wear overpowering fragrances. //
Some people like the security of smelling nice, and not worrying about potential body odour.
I don't think anyone thinks overpowering fragrances are a good idea, including the people who wear them - but that's down to ignorance of the effect of overdoing it.

Well I never worry about body odour Andy. As I said, I bath everyday, wear clean clothes and wear a low odour anti-perspirant. I cant see how that compares to trying to disguise B.O. by spraying yourself with a flower fragrance. If you've got B.O simply shower/bath more often.
