I saw a thread about "silly" eBay prices recently, Eleena.
Somebody suggested that when a seller runs out of stock then rather than withdraw the ad and have to re-insert it later they hike the price to a won't-buy-me level.

I've just bought a book from Amazon for under £3, good condition. Same book, same reported condition, posted by another seller at over £30. Happens a lot

I found a cookbook in tkmaxx that I liked the look of. I had a look on Amazon for reviews and noticed it cost 2x the tkmaxx price. I went back to tkmaxx for it.
