You can buy dvds of a particular year, of news, different things that occurred that year. Perhaps the year they married?

A golden coloured photo frame for their 50th Anniversary photo?
If you look on Etsy or 'not on the high street' you will find some lovely ones that can be personalized with names and dates and they are quite reasonable.

those are good ideas. really want to do something for them - anybody come across say like a music box playing the Anniversary Waltz with the man and dancing/balleting.

am also thinking of a personal 2019 calendar - they were married and had a baby that year well 50 years ago LOL

I would love to get photos (from her kids) so that a photo could be put on it a month. (just an idea really)
