Boots Price Vary Depending On Branch?
33 Answers
I bought an eye drops for astonishing £15 from a large Boots store. I thought is very expensive but I can't judge on medicine. But as I was going home and realised there is another smaller Boots store on the opposite of the road. I went in and asked how much does the eye drops cost. They said its around £9. Then I I asked why the other store is charging more?
Then the staff at the smaller store says £15 is right. I wonder they have changed the story to protect their interest.
So anyone know if the price varies with different branches? If so, I will use smaller branch next times.

It is down to us to decide to buy it or not. I was out of desperation this morning as the eye was so red and soar.
So best is to ask the price and prepared to walk away and get it from another store. Lessons learned.

it's all about profit and how much you can extract from a customer. It depends on the retailers policies. It may be that the staff are in a commission bases to charge as much as possible by judging on a customer affordability. These are done in the Far East, if you don't believe go to somewhere like Thailand and then you will know that the tourist pay a mega price compared with the locals. Their price tags are coded to reflect prices for locals and non-locals. How can they tell this? They look at the customer's face....
