bought an ite.m from ebay a few hours ago
for click and collect
got no email conformation
cannot collect with out email
what should i do

You might get more responses next time in a different section.
Is it a major retailer? I've never noticed aclick and collect option. Anyway, if you go onto ebay there is a message facility- is there aconfirmation message. There must be some record.
Are you checking the right email account - the one linked to your ebay?

You should be able to contact the seller by clinking a link on your ‘my ebay’ page.

Click on click and collect. Choose the store you want to pick the item up from ,pay for it and then you should receive an email when it's ready to be collected. Think I have got it the right way round.

Do you mean 'click and collect',Tony? Yes it has been on Ebay for quite some time. I buy but don't bother with that method. The nearest stores would be about 8 miles away. I always have things delivered to my home.

Ok Andres stand corrected, don't use eBay personally anymore, if I need anything, I ask a friend who is always on there (seems like 24 / 7) buying and selling computer related items, but that's how he makes his living.

I never use click and collect, it usually is delivered to my door the same day as they deliver to Argos. And it isn't just Argos stuff that you collect there, other half bought a second hand carpet shampooer with click and collect at Argos.

I now see what you mean henry, sorry I thought you were talking about an order from a retailer such as Tesco/Argos via ebay who already have a click&collect system.
Yes, I have used the ebay drop off at Collect-Plus (and Argos do it I know) and know buyers use the collection service. I just didn't know this was called 'click and collect'

I assume you have a record of the purchase on your ebay and emails but you haveto wait until the person has chosen a Collect Plus/Argos point and dropped the item at the before you will be able to get collection details

I see it now. The buyer can choose apick up point (step 1).
Seller then drops it off.
Then according to ebay: "As soon as your parcel is ready for collection, we’ll send you a notification email (and text message if you’ve selected this option) containing a collection code."
I assume that will be around 2-5 days after you bought the item.
