$2100 shopping spree

i received a notice while visiting planet hits radio website that i had one a $2100 shopping spree via a random selection of visitors to the site. How would i really get this prize?

You probably won't! These things are usually a scam to get you involved in some marketing scheme of theirs.

Think about it, why would they give away this much money at random?

Remember the phrase "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is ..."? Well, this is what they were talking about!

there are so many of these things on websites and they never amount to anything, its all aploy to get you to either spend money or give their site to however many people

I agree with both Andy and Boobesque...however, there's another (more sinister) reason why you should be wary.

If a window comes up whilst surfing that tells you you've won something, when you click on it, it might be a way of installing spyware on your PC.
