Anyone Try To Order Anything On The Boots Pharmacy Website?

Is it because of the Covid 19 virus

I have managed one order from the online Boots pharmacy. Because I ordered Ibuprofen, I had to complete a form online and then order had to be checked by a pharmacist. This took a couple of days and even after I received notification that it was OK, the order still took ages to arrive. Good thing I wasn't desperate. I would like effervescent paracetamol, but it seems to be permanently out of stock, so I am going to try other online pharmacies. If this doesn't work, I will have to get it on prescription, although I prefer to save the NHS the cost when I can. The queues have now disappeared, probably because so many products are out of stock. The main reason for the problem is because so many people are self-isolating and can't get to the Boots shops. I am having my prescriptions delivered by Boots now too and that service is struggling. You have to allow plenty of time.

I thought ibuprofen was reasonably asy to get, because the advice was that it wasn't good for treating Covid, so everyone was stocking up on paracetamol instead? Last time I looked our chemists were rationing paracetamol but had plenty of ibuprofen. The supermarkets seem to have, too.

You're right jno, but my problem is I can't swallow ordinary tablets and Boots own brand Ibuprofen caplets are easy to swallow.

Not everyone can take ibuprofen. It's very harsh on the stomach.
