Anyone else attempted to do their shop online?? What does it say re delivery slots??
My usual Tesco is saying no slots available for 2 weeks!! Am walking to Lidl and the queue is literally around the block - takes 30 mins just to get to the door!!

sainburys who i shop with have slots available, but in order to get an anytime delivery, you have to have a delivery pass which is something i have had for the last two years, which cost me 60 quid.
I can only get one shop a week, but that is adequate. Try them by the way, they might be taking on
new customers, but don't hold your breath...
It's like that here too smow. It will remain so until the epidemic is over methinks.
you should try all the supermarkets, make sure they deliver to your area..
30 minutes to the door isn't too bad, unless like me you can't stand for too long.

I’ve been walking to our Local Lidl when I need things but the queue is absolutely insane
Me? I have a lovely lady who does it for me. She's a Street Warden, she gets my paper and any shopping I need. A couple of days ago I included a bunch of flowers, when she gave them to me I gave them back and said 'They are for you.' She was ever so pleased. :o}
i have had no problem with our local supermarket waitrose, the wait is usually no more than 15 minutes often a lot less, but as i get an online shop i don't use them much, unless i have run out of something urgent..
I managed to get a delivery about a week ago, for yesterday morning at ASDA. I think it must have been a cancelled order which opened the slot up for me, so I made the most of it and ordered £90 worth of stuff to stock up the freezer/pantry. Only problem was that because of the obvious reasons, the driver isn't allowed in the building, so I had an awful lot of food to take up to my third floor flat on my own. Not a happy bunny.

I saw an evening slot open for next Thursday, so booked it and filled it with essentials. I know I may not need it, but I thought it was worth doing anyway, you don't know how frequent slots will be, and I can amend the order for what I actually need nearer the date.
sainburys guys deliver to the door, i am up 2 floors.
they won't bring it inside now but can't understand why you had to lug it all up yourself Mozz.
Because they only deliver to the front door of the building. I completely understand why, but it didn't help my back!
do they normally delivery to the flat?
as sainburys do, i couldn't manage to lug the stuff up four flights of stairs.
Yeah, they usually come to the flat door and I unload the crates (Asda don't use carrier bags usually) into big bags for life and bring inside.

Yesterday they had carried bags. I bought my bags downstairs and he filled them up, but it still left stuff in carriers too. I won't be ordering any more of the sparkling water until the restrictions are over. Bloody heavy.
not good mozz, not good at all....

I’ll try again today x
keep getting emails from iceland saying they miss me, of course they do, i can never get a slot for home delivery ...

try sainsbury smow, register with them and see what they can or cannot do, it's worth a go.
Try Asda Smow. The delivery pass is only £5 a month and it covers unlimited deliveries over £40. Like Sainsburys, I'm not sure if they are taking on new customers though.
