no cure as far as i know.ive tried loads of stuff,no joy..if you have the itching try white vinegar, about 50/50 with hot as you can stand it water
I used Scholl Fungal Nail Treatment and it was successful.
Tea tree oil in your foot soak water. It worked for my dad.
All of them - Cure a Nail, Scholl, Tea-tree oil - work for some people and not others. I believe the last resort is anti-fungal tablets from a GP. It doesn't itch though, I wonder if you're thinking athlete's foot Tommy?
Try rubbing a little Vicks Vaporub into the nail at night. Seriously. I had fungus on my big toe nail and spent a fortune on different treatments. Vicks Vaporub sorted it out. If you dont want to get the Vicks on your bedlinen, pop on a sock after you apply it.
I am using Nailner, which seems to be working, chiropodist said it was a good product and gave a couple of tips. Make sure you apply with a pipette, put a drop behind the nail as well as covering the nail, and once a week paint all nails with it to help prevent spreading. When it has cleared up continue with the once a week on all nails.
I agree with Ringlet. Vick is very good for nail fungus.
I had a toenail fungal infection for about 3 years, only on one big toe, I went to the doctors about an unrelated problem, a yeast infection in the groin, known as 'jock itch', he gave me some ointment for the jock itch and on reading the leaflet noticed that it said 'also for treatment of nail fungus, I applied the ointment to my toe and within about 3 or 4 months the nail was fine, it grew out and is now normal. For the life of me I cannot remember the ointments name, but you maybe ought to consider getting something similar from your GP or pharmacy.
