Cd Sleeves

Wilkinsons (Wilkos) used to sell a 50 pack of thick CD plastic sleeves - multi-coloured or clear unimportant - but they don't any more, for whatever reason. I bought some from Rymans, but as they were packed, I couldn't try them till I got home and found they were too flimsy. I ordered a 100-pack from a seller on Amazon and arrived today and they are too flimsy too, so in the bin with them! Trouble is, you can't feel the sleeves 'cause they're packaged, so does anyone know the type of CD plastic sleeve I'm on about, they are thicker than usual and are single sleeves, not part of a wallet, etc and if you know of any, please could you let me know. I've got loads of CDs, which need to come out of their proper cases and put into these sleeves, so I can braille them. and the thick ones were just right!..."yeah, just like their owner," says Lie-in King, with a wicked grin!...well, I've got to make you all laff, eh!...really need the sleeves though, laughing aside! Have you checked with the Blind Society (RNIB?) to see if they can help you?

Are you sending the ones that arrived today back to Amazon?

No Tigger, I had to open them to see and try them and they are not very good, to say the least, but that's not the seller's fault, but I can't send them back, so I'll put it down to experience and bin them!

Things are moving on technology wise and the cd is not part of the future I am afraid. It is all about flash drives now. Retailers are already aware of this and are no longer holding stocks of CD's and their peripherals, including the sleeves you require.
