When the charity shops open again, I intend to spring clean my wardrobes, but I need your help.
I think the best way for me to do this, is to decide how many things I really need, and so I'm hoping you can tell me how many pairs of shoes, sandals, boots, trainers, skirts, trousers, tops, jumpers, cardigans, coats, nighties, pyjamas, dressing gowns (and anything else I've missed) I need to keep.
Do you do this yourself, and do you put all your winter clothes away when the nice weather arrives? Please help.

It's times like this I wish I was a man, as they don't need half as many clothes as us. :-)
Barsel get rid! When you lose the weight you can get new stuff. I think its impossible for you to choose your wardrobe on the basis of mine or anyone else's. I live in skinny jeans and sweatshirts or shirts or skinny jeans and t shirts or short sleeved shirts and crocs. I don't own any skirts or dresses. one of my sisters wears skirts and dresses and owns no jeans, the other wears jeans but not sweatshirts. I own no formal clothes at all and only one "occasion" outfit. I do prune my wardrobe regularly and yes I have got a warm weather wardrobe and a colder weather wardrobe including sleeping stuff. I have got loads of coats and jackets but a lot of them are old and beloved.
Lol. Maybe store your "favourite, but don't fit yet" for now. But get rid of anything that does- and you have chosen not to wear for six months. I find it difficult, tbh, but also have never really noticed or missed anything I have got rid of- so be harsh.
Plus, then you have room to buy new clothes :-)

i have no loft, nor would i be able to get up into one if i did.
i have four seasons of clothes, on proper shop style garment racks. i have put on weight, lost it, put on weight, and stayed like it.
so what i have now is my larger size gear.
i literally gave 40 bags to a BHF shop couple of years ago, all stuff that didn't fit. Perhaps you can get your daughter to put stuff up in the loft, all that doesn't currently fit you. shoes, boots can stay

I daren't buy new clothes as my daughters jump on me if they spot I am wearing something different, they are like the Gestapo!
When did you buy that, do you really need it, how much did it cost!
Even my grandson took it upon himself to count how many things I own that have butterflies on as I love anything like that, but he gave up counting and said, 'Nanna, stop buying things just because they have butterflies on them.'
