Has Anyone Used Getir?

I hope ED. doesn't delete this OP as advertising but there is an app called Getir that offers bargain buys at discount prices delivered to your door. Someone I know used it today. The offer was £15 off the bill. These are rolling offers and may vary through the day. You have to keep checking. The purchase today totalled £15.18p, so they only paid 18p. The items were delivered within 20 minutes. Have you heard of this app? First time for me. See here.

ZM, at least half the answer is that it's never clear whether the reviews on sites like that are as trustworthy as they claim to be. Clarion's wise to ask around on a site whose members he's already familiar with.

Thanks jno but I wasn't asking with a view to using Getir. I was merely relating what had happened, when someone I know used it. And, had anyone else on here used it, maybe with the same experience, or a different one. Hey ho! :o)

we have to place our Waitrose dellvery orders about 30 hours in advance, mamya, but they're free (if over £40). If I was ordering something to be delivered in the next hour from bee, I'd think it would be reasonable to pay a good deal extra.

I agree Jno, they'll do well in affluent areas - I only mentioned the cost as the OP mentioned 'Bargain Buys' and promotions.
