How Do You Return Items If They Are Large

I may return the Amazon table i bought, i still have the boxes it came in, but its too heavy to take to a depot, do they collect, and if so, do they charge?

the table isn't fit for purpose, and is a disappointment, so i am considering dismantling it, which shouldn't take long, and getting my money back. Which Amazon say they will do.

I had a dining table set which was faulty...the couriers picked it up... instructions will be forthcoming after return request

have instructions as such, but it says 2 copies of invoice, but there was no invoice in the box as far as i can tell

Won’t your email re the table be your invoice as it will have description and price on it?

sometimes an invoice is behind the address label with your name ??

but I would not fret ..copy the e mail confirmation of order..that should suffice

If you go to "my orders" in your account "invoice" will be in the top bar. Press and the invoice will come up. Take a screen shot or photo and upload to your return request

looks like i will have to arrange with a courier and pay for it's shipping back to USA, and it is indeed more complicated than i first thought. Amazon say that they will reimburse the shipping costs provided i give them a copy of the receipt. Had i known it came from abroad i wouldn't have bothered.

I always check when shopping with Amazon that’s it’s not a third party I’m dealing with Emmie, how much was the console table? I’m only asking to see if shipping it back is worth your bother?

i might just put this down to experience, i have no idea about couriers and who can take what, and what it costs, surely to the USA its going to cost more than the item is worth. Even if Amazon do reimburse me....

Yes and you say the table is heavy too, try reselling it on either EBay or FaceBook market place

zacs, no chance its a piece of tat. it shouldn't be, but its so small for a console table, that it looks absurd where it is.

with the packaging its heavy, the item itself weighs no more than a few kilo. i can pick it up with one hand.....
