Asda Delivery Driver Walked Straight Into Woman’s Bedroom!
39 Answers
Was chatting online earlier in a womens chat grouo I’ve been in for a long time & one woman was really upset. Apparently her ASDA shopping delivery was due between 4- 5 this afternoon and right at that time her 3 month old decided she wanted a feed. As she is breastfeeding she took baby up to her bedroom and said to her 14 yr old son to keep eye out for the van and to open door when driver knocks. Well driver knocked, boy opened door & driver said he couldn’t leave shopping unless there was someone aged over 18 in house(fair enough). Boy says his mum is breastfeeding his baby sister upstairs, and boy calls up to mum to say driver is here, but driver says no he has to actually see her, and walks straight past boy, up the stairs and into her bedroom where she was on bed with both b**bs out to put it bluntly, feeding her baby!! She shouted at him to get out of her room, which he did, whilst still saying he needed to do that. Then he left.
She was completely stunned and so upset. Naturally there was a huge range of answers with everything from ring ASDA head office ASAP, to call the police, as the boy had said what mum was doing yet he still barged in.
So she rang ASDA h.o. Who seemed to brush her off and simply say someone would get back to her within 48 hours. But she doesn’t feel that’s enough. Personally if a driver had come that to me I’d have been beyond seething!! All he had to do was call up to her and give her 30 seconds to pop a robe on and come to top of stairs.
What do you think??

She’s adamant - she heard door go and assumed son was dealing with it, next thing the bedroom door opened and the driver is standing there saying he just needed to prove an adult was in house. Dreadful if true. As already said , I too hope that it’s crossed wires somewhere.
Just checked update - teenage son opened door, tells driver mums busy & he’s to take in shopping. Driver says he still needs to speak to mum, son says she’s busy feeding baby upstairs, driver says sorry but he still needs to speak to her and walks past boy and straight upstairs, while son calls up the stairs to try and tell mum that he was on way up.
Just a minute.......I have been under the impression that you breast feeding women were quite happy with people seeing you breast feeding your neonates, in fact you have told us that it is the most natural thing in the world and you have made public protestations demanding the right to feed your babies in public.
These delivery men are under pressure to be on time and to be held up by a woman " faffing" about feeding her baby would to me, be annoying to say the least.
My sympathies are with the delivery man.

Driver should have just taken the shopping back.
People just dont seem to understand how pressured these drivers are for time. She knew the shopping was coming, companies state someone over 18 needs to take it in especially for some items so she should have ensured she was free. Surely she has some sort of schedule, all my daughters do.
