Viewing Ebay Ratings

Whenever I consider purchases from a new seller, I check both positive and negative comments.
I do this to see exactly how well items closest to what I want to buy are rated. Particularly as I buy a lot of plants and packing and health are important.
Now, all I get is "sorry you missed this item".
If this is a new thing, I feel it limits my ability to make an informed choice.
Any sellers know the reason for this?

I think you mean the messages you get from ebay - offering similar items - if you’ve looked at x, then ebay will show you y - same idea as other sites offer8ng alternatives to what you’ve looked at.

This has nothing to do with you checking feedback.

EBay, like everything else in this world these days suffers from the young and thrusting improving things on our behalf and making a pigs ear of it in the process.

No, I don't mean those.
When I find an item I'm interested in, I go to the seller and click on their feedback. Then I click on the "positive". I will see the individual comments. Previously, if I clicked on one of these, it would take me to the specific item. Now I just get the message that I've missed it.
