It’s small enough for me to take as it’s expensive for him to get it there, I saw it had been delivered and I thought , Where and to who?
I’ve just found it thrown into the black box used for recycling old paper that the council provide, it was lying in a pool of water as we’ve had an overnight frost

I had a tin of paint delivered by Amazon on Saturday evening. I was waiting to go out so kept up to date with the tracking facility, checking the courier's progress until he got to my road. I opened the front door to see if there was a van nearby and to my surprise I found my paint neatly placed on the doorstep. Checking the tracker, it said "delivered at 18:51 - handed to resident."

Not only was it not handed to resident, but the courier did not even trouble to ring the doorbell. We've had a spate of thefts in our area where thieves have followed courier vans round and lifted parcels that were left on the doorstep, just as mine was. Strangely, I'm not surprised as it seems easy pickings.

I’ve had that happen as well NJ , we have an outside book on our gate because of the dog we didn’t want the side gate left open ,yet some deliveries have been left on the garden path and even next doors step !

I live in a block of maisonettes...there's a walkway/balcony that runs in front of the upstairs. When I returned from shopping the other day, there were parcels left in front of 2 flats. It would have been so easy for someone to take them. They weren't in Amazon packaging.
Amazon drivers are generally good here, and I've often taken parcels for neighbours.

lol cause i use a wheelchair, it takes me longer to get to the door. I also usually have trouble opening it, so prefer them to just leave it
