hi, i havent worn my wedding and engagement rings since i had my daughter, but now want to wear them again. i have classic RA deformations in my fingers and wearing rings is difficult. Des anyone here wear rings on a necklace (for any reason?) what do i need to think about when getting a neclace for them? i want them t be safe - do i need the same metal as the rings are?

I used to wear mine on a chain, same metal as rings and made sure was happy about the catch, didn't want that to fail.
Went for chain length to use cleavage to catch if the fastening failed.
Have a safety chain put on your neck-chain. Then if the clasp fails for any reason it won’t fall off.

thanks both - i have plenty of cleavage!
Boasting again !! ;-)
I should think a pelican bib would save losing the rings in cleavage ;)
My mother wore her wedding ring when I was conceived, born and brought up. She wore it until over ninety years of age and the day she died I wore it on a chain around my neck and have done ever since. It gives me great comfort.
