I saw that a TV shopping channel (QVC?) had lots of Christmas stuff ...two/three weeks ago!
Won't even contemplate anything until December.
Usually get them in the January sales. I'm only going to send to 'special ' friends because of the prohibitive cost of stamps
Gonna cost a fortune in stamps!!
My wife told me a few weeks ago she had seen a tv advert for Christmas trees
Must be about time I bought a 2023 calendar - you can get really good discounts now.
Mince pies into our store this weekend! Mind you, I don't mind - I could eat them all year round.
The shops have been selling 'tins' of Roses, Quality St etc for a while - they claim they are 'helping customers spread the cost of Christmas'.

The know fine well the Christmas goodies bought now will be eaten long before Christmas, and will be bought again. They are not daft.

I bet the mince pies have a best before date of October/November
This post should be removed . It’s August .
I bought mine in the January sales but have told some people I'm not sending many cards this year. I'll donate to charity instead.

You should switch from Morrisons to Asda, Cap'n! They sell mince pies all year round :-)
Mince pies and hot x buns have lost their seasonal standing Chris , far too early for anything Christmas :0(
Can't be too much of a traitor, Chris, but I will hunt out the best from wherever. ;0))
A timely reminder for sprout boiling to begin.
