Out Of Date Food

I bought some cornettos in iceland today , we were going to sit in the park and have them. The wafers were very soft. On checking the box they were three weeks out of date. I have sent a message of complaint with relevant details. Not Good is it ?

The former is a qualifying date, the latter isn't.

It is indeed not good. Either their Stock Control system is flawed, or they don't use it properly.

I'm surprised that the Cornettos passed through the till if they were past the sell by date items like that are usually rejected . There must be something wrong with the till.
