Sir Keir is to add Dozens of new peers to the House of Lords. Starting with a Gong for Sue Gray along with 30 more people for peerages, in a bid to increase the number of Labour members.Good man. There have been far too many Tory members in the H.O.L for far too long..Well done Labour🤣

I am mostly a traditionalist but the HOL is a bit of an anachronism,  would certainly remove all those who have a seat purely on religious grounds, and I know there is a proposal for them retiring at 80,  I would say 70 is more appropriate.

The HoL will be made to enact the will of the government whoever is in it. Its function is to suggest amendments to legislation or just delay it.

Appointing peers is simply rewarding your favourites with a lifetime ticket on the gravy train.
