Scrollbar Is Jumping Too Many Pages On Opera - Driving Me Mad!

Im using Opera browser & an Asus Vivobook 17 on windows 11.

Whenever i click in the scrollbar itself(not the triangle button), more often than not it jumps about 2-3 pages instead of the usual 1 that it does on all other browsers ive used.
occasionally it does more than that.

Ive looked through settings on opera & the laptop & tried to set it to scroll only one page at a time, but nothing stops it.

Its very annoying so any ideas how i can stop it?

Have you enabled smooth scrolling in Opera settings?
