Hi, Has anyone got any generally views on who are good / bad kitchen suppliers & fitters. A friend bought a new kitchen from B&Q, and although the units were of good quality, the fitters were terrible, and it took months to get everything sorted.
We're considering getting a new kitchen, but I'm concerned we may end up with more problems than its worth!!

Ah! My dad is a builder and altho he rates B&Q kitchens very highly, he would not recommend their fitters (at least locally). He charges a lot less than they do and does a much better job, from the planning of the layout to the finishing of the job. The fact that he gets numerous recommendations proves this!!

I would say yes to the B&Q kitchen if you find one you like but get a recommendation for a decent fitter... in fact any decent builder or kitchen fitter will be able to give you numbers of customers who are more than happy to show off their new kitchens!!

Hope you find one!

We bought our units from Ikea about 2 years ago.

They are very well made and have lasted very well.
