aftershave

i have just bought my husband some aftershave from a superdrug store in my town centre wheni got home the aftershave bottle was half full. The next day as i was not goin into the town centre i decided to exchange it at my local superdrug store so armed with my receipt and the aftershave i tried to exchange it or get my money back they refused to do either and said i had to take it back to town centre shop they are the same store etc so were they in their rights to say this i waz very annoyed but they would not have it
