It is only 2 million pixels but good enough for...maybe 5x7 prints. the lens is good quality and the exposure accurate. you are best to go with used quality brands or spend at least �80 + on a basic one from a good brand....and for goodness sake don't just go for big numbers!
When i sold them i used to compare digital cameras with tvs. they all had the same number of lines (625) making the picture but there is a huge difference in quality.
remember, 2 years ago people were wetting themselves over 3 and 4 million pixels.
