Is this a scam?

A friend told me about this website - it seems like a scam to me, but I can't figure out how. Any ideas?

I've just been on and had a look,they reckon giving jewellery away for free is there way of getting their company recognised,it sounds good but i'm very wary of "Somethings for nothings" and unless you're in the USA you cant get them anyway,and i wonder how much the shipping costs would be?

estie my software won't let me go onto that site it blocks the pop-up or something, this new laptop is highly strung but maybe there is a prob on the site.

It's tempting with things like this but I wouldn't recommend them as my friend did something similar and they took �85 out of her account when it was supposed to only come to �4.99 postage! She never got it back either

My feeling is anything free that you pay postage on in essence isnt free - I wouldnt trust it. That or paypal which I see is a method of payment.

Nah, I don't trust it either - I was just wondering what all of you thought! I never trust anything that seems too good to be true.

And Dotty - you know me so well! I actually did order a silver bracelet today - not from Tiffany, but not cheap either!

The silverjewelryclub.com is a legitmate place. I have ordered several "quality" items from them, and each time the shipping is only 5.99 just like it says. I was amazed that it really is what it says - but if you watch long enough - they run the same jewelry over and over. But still, you can't beat it for $5.99. I will buy from there again if something catches my eye

I have ordred several "quality" items from there and each time the shipping has only been $5.99 just like it says. And my bank account has only had $5.99 debited out of it for each transaction. I will continue to buy from there as I see items that I like. This is actually one website that is what it says. !!!
