Wispa Vs Flake

why does Wispa chocolate taste very different to Flake when they are both Cadbury's milk chocolate?

I hate the taste of Wispa but could die for Flake.

hey its chocolate its great in any shape size or form. i didnt think you could still get wispas? i thought they had been replaced by the dairy milk bubby which just isnt as good as the wispa im sorry

I used to love Wispa's! As nobjob rightly pointed out though, they don't make them any longer!! Sob! Cadbury's Bubble just insn't anywhere near as good! I love Flake too, but Wispa was the best!!

LOVE Flake...tastes like 'proper' chocolate.

HATED Wispa.

To me, a Wispa tasted of metal.

Right on purpose, might explain why Flake is still around and Wispa is no more

Its to do with the whisking process during manufacturing,wispa was whisked tighter and added preservatives give it a different flavour,,,see??

Wispa was lovely. Had a nice sort of texture. I liked the taste too - closest thing I can find now is an Aero.

Flake too farty and light to be tasty - chocolate needs a bit of backbone!

They both taste the same, its Cadburys choc. Its just the texture thats different.

Here's how you get around it.(Old family recipe)

Take 12 flakes, grate into a bowl. Take 14 Wispas. Grate into the same bowl. Mix with a large spoon. Eat the contents of the bowl, washed down with copious amounts of pepsi.

For a variation, sprinkle a light coating of grated crunchie over your mix before use.

Flake for me every time!! They are my favourite, have to say though, i did like whispa gold! yummy to both.
