Buzzing Motorola V3 Razr

My sister bought the Motorola V3 Razr in silver just over a month ago. It has made a buzzing noise on occasions, but it has got progressively worse over the last 2 days. So much so, that sometimes she is actually having trouble hearing people speak! She has taken it back to the shop where she bought it from and they have been most unhelpful ! Because she has taken it back 5 days after the 28 day period, they are refusing to do anything. They are saying that she can get it fixed (which she has to pay for!), but buzzing is a common problem with Motorola phones and it will probably continue to do it after its been repaired.

So my question is...

a) has anyone else had this buzzing problem with this particular phone or Motorola in general?

b) does anybody have any advice or suggestions as to what my sister can do?

Contact watchdog?

I'm pretty sure any electrical goods displaying faults within 6 months of purchase are eligible for a replacement, and this comes from working in a shop.

Still, I may be wrong. But try sending an email to Watchdog, if like you say, this is a common problem, they have more power than you to do something about it!
