Hello! Maybe someone could help me with what is probably a simple solution to this problem. I have a TV, Video Recorder, DVD player & now a freeview box Digital receiver. I can record off the tv to the video but can't work out how I can tune in the programmes from the digital box. I have read the instructions time & time again and still I can't work it out. please help if you can - thank you!

I take it you want to record freeview programmes.

You have to manually set your video to record station EXT2 and have the freeview box switched on at the channel you want to record.
If you switch the box off or change the channel, your recording will be ruined.

You can watch a terrestrial programme through your aerial at the same time, but not through the freeview box.

It may depend on your player.

I have a Panasonic, so I ran a SCART from the digi-box into the video recorder. I set my video recorder channel to A!, and it records what ever the digi-box is tuned to. NB, it will only reply if you are tuned to A1 as well, Hope this helps.

thanks for your quick response. I will give it a go & hopefully all will be fine. thanks again.

When i set all my stuff up the same as you mentioned i just linked up video player with freeview box via scart lead then if i wanted to record freeview i just selected the av channel on the video.
