Does anybody out there know if there is anywhere where we can buy a sturdy garden swing from. It has to be suitable for an older child into adulthood. Child has a learning disability and is vulnerable. We are trying to make our garden more fun for her but all we've been able to find are nursery type swings which are a bit flimsy. I'm sure we're not the only parents who think this.

try going to Garden shows in your area, they always have sturdy stuff. There is a company called Puddleduck in the Midlands somewhere that display at these shows and several others too, I ordered a garden arbour and they came & delivered & put it up in the garden before any money changed hands. I am sure one of these companies that sell at these shows could customise a sturdy swing for you. Good luck.

click on above - they have full support swing seats with harnesses to keep the children/adults safe and secure.

Hope this helps! I know how much my nephew with special needs loves to swing in the breeze!
