Just get a couple of squares of satin in a suitable colour, put them together with the outsides facing each other (if you see what I mean!!) stitch them together most of the way round, turn them the right way round, stuff them with some stuffing, or some old tights or something, sew up the rest of the way round. Done.

If you want to put any decoration on the top, or sew any ribbons on to tie the rings to, do it before you sew the pieces together.

Shouldn't take you any more than a couple of hours at the most.
May I suggest that you put curtain rings on the actual cushion especially if the ring barer is very young. That`s what my son & daughter in law did when they got married. The best man had the "real" rings.
Or..... across the centre of the cushion run two strips of ribbon which match the colour theme of the wedding and that cross in the middle and tie loosely at the edges. The rings can be threaded on to the ribbon and won't fall off.

If the cushion will be the colour theme of the wedding, make the ribbon the same colour as the brides dress.
