Why do the British public encourage Nikki to behave as she does?

I think the British public should stop encouraging Nikki to continue acting like a baby and getting away with it. Nikki obviously has big health and social issues and she has admitted that she wants to be like Peter Pan and never grow up, therefore, she continues to starve her body to keep it childlike so that her childish tantrums are seen to be acceptable. This is outlandish behaviour and if poor Pete has to have this problematic person as a girlfriend then I feel very sorry for him. Nikki's mother has also got to take some blame for not stopping Nikki's tantrum before she got to school age.
