ringlets / wavy hair
4 Answers
hiya, i have long dark hair, quite thick and so quite heavy. I want a nice wave / curl or ringlet in my hair (but not a perm!) - you know, the kind of curl or ringlet thats in fashion at the moment - loose curls.
But i have no idea how to get them, or which products to use to get them - old-style chunky roller types or hot curling tongs? If rollers - how long do i keep them in for and do i put them in when my hair is wet or dry?
Also which make is best for hair mouse and hair spray? As my hair is long, thick and heavy, any styling i do falls out in a short time - i want products that will keep my hair do looking freshly styled and lasting all day!
thanks

I have naturally very curly hair so I am a big fan of hair straighteners. The look that is in fashion at the moment is achieved with these. Go to a good hairdresser for a cut and finish, get them to do it, get some medium plate ghds and youll have what you are after.
Or you can use rollers (not velcro), but roll the hair vertically to get the barrel effect, ragging is ok but youll either look like a bride or from the victorian times.
