....No its not like that!! I start my nursing training next month at Uni and have been advised to purchase nurse shoes which need to be leather/lace-up/non-slip/ v.sensible etc etc (why are they so ugly?!) and a plain navy blue cardigan which I'm finding hard to track down. Anybody know any good websites or stores in the Derbyshire/Midlands area where I could get this sort of stuff and not have to pay a fortune?? Thanks x
phone your school of nursing and they should be able to give you local stockist of the clothing required re the shoes mostly for safety purposes .when in the wards
Sadly, the more comfortable and practical ladies' shoes are, the uglier they make them.
Don;t worry, after sixteen hours on your feet, you'll be very grateful that your shoes don't cripple you, and you won't give a flying one what they look like!
