Basically this scottish boy remembered a previous life when he lived in Barrah (excuse spelling). he named family members, described a house they lived in and the fact that from his house he could see planes landing on a beach. Also a black and white sheep dog. The family together with a man from a university in America who looks into reincarnation travelled to Barrah and found the house and that a family with the name Robertson did live there. When they took the boy to the house it was really weird the way he went all quite and said his Barrah mum. I've been looking all day on websites about reincarnation etc. really interesting.
I saw it, it was really good.
Basically they took him back to Bara, which looked absolutly gorgeous,
Several things this kid said were true, ir the planes landing on the beach.
They visited a local historian who couldnt find anything about the family name the boy gave, but it turned out that they only recorded local people and not people from the main land, They eventually found that iinfact there was a family living on the island called Robinson and they found the house he described.
They took him to the house - not telling the boy - and the poor boy changed in personality, he went all quite and sad. It was very emotional.
They even amanged to trace a family member.
Once they returned from Bara the boy settled down and didnt talk about his 'past life' very much and was much more relaxed and more of a normal boy.
It was a great programme and quite touching.

Aside from the initial question you posed "lucyshandbag"; It also begs to ask: What does really happen to us when we pass away?
I know the same question has probably had plenty of AB time before but it clearly makes the sceptics think again.
I have my own quite in-depth views on this subject but it would take forever and a day to type it on here.

and if there is such thing as reincarnation, how are there ghosts and spiritualists and mediums? coz if everyone's been reincarnated, there wouldn't be any passed over spirits left. that always confuses me. not really sure what i believe, but after reading that link about the programme it all seems a bit spooky.
