If my maths is correct the seller needs to sell 15000 tickets at �25 before the draw can take place that makes �375000 for a house that is worth �185000. If it works thats a profitable way to sell a house. I don't think I would take the opportunity to make someone rich for a game of chance.

I think she has placed a reserve amount of tickets to sell before the draw should go ahead. It is all done through solicitors etc but I agree, would I risk it? No but if I had a few �25 s to spare then deffo!

Thank you. Just bought a ticket. I would spend that on supper out tonight - so I'll eat in instead! The benefit certainly outweighs the risk on this one!
