Sa Coma, Majorca
Have just returned from this godforsaken place and felt I should warn people against visiting the place.
Avoid if you don't like V busy resorts, eating in The Red Lion/The Kings Head etc and where everything, everything comes with chips...Loud tattooed people in replica England football shirts reading The Sun and chowing down on a Full English - and that's just the women - it was a chav paradise.
The beach was lovely, but because of the vast number of hotels there, there simply is not the infrastructure to support the vast numbers of people.
We went because we didn't want to be selfish to our three year old and that she'd enjoy the kids clubs etc..., well sod that, next year we're reverting to our usual holiday of a nice private villa surrounded by lemon and olive trees and a private pool on one of the Greek islands.
Has anybody else been to this festering turd pit?

We go to Porto Andratx in the south east part of the island. There is only about 2 hotels. Many German and Swedes. It is a yachting port so no big hotels but many boats. The beach is tiny, everyone is friendly even the English. No yobs. We've been about 9 times now and still love it. if you are lucky you will see Claudia Schiffer walking along the street as she has a place there. Not much to do except lounge during the day and people watch at night.
We have also been to Alcudia. DO NOT got to Jupiter unless you want the council house estate. I use trip advisor every time I go somewhere different as its people like you and me who report on the holidays and hotels. I'm not sure of the English holiday review sites but I'm sure you can google the hotel names and get real reports.
Good luck and enjoy your next holiday
